Cottage Buyback Policy

Cottages are purchased by residents, who hold the deed and are responsible for taxes and insurance. When the owner no longer resides in the cottage, it must be sold back to Brooks Place. The purchaser/or estate will receive a percentage of the original purchase price depending on how long the cottage was owned. (Owned 1 year or less=90% buypack of purchase price; owned between 1 and 5 years=80% buyback of purchase price; owned 5 years or more=75% buyback of purchase price)
